Heat Mapping
Heat maps provide a wealth of information to help determine which neighborhoods suit your needs. Red and orange coloured areas show higher level of a certain characteristic, whereas blue & green are lower. From this example, you can see homes around the edges of Brampton are higher priced, whereas homes around downtown and some near commercial areas (in grey) such as Bramalea "K", "F", "G" & "H" sections (Bramalea Rd & Queen St) offer more affordability.
Some of the other heat maps I’ve created include:
- Population and dwelling counts
- Age characteristics
- Marital status / Families and households
- Household characteristics
- Language / Mother tongue / etc
- Generation status
- Mobility & Mode of transportation
- Educational attainment / Major field of study
- Labour / Occupation / Place of work
- Industry
- Population characteristics
- School reports
- And more...
